Each year my aunt makes the tastiest 4 Layer Chocolate Pie for Thanksgiving. This year I asked what to bring and she said I could make the pie. At first I was skeptical because I really do not cook or bake, but it really is easy and fast to make. No cooking required and takes about 25 mins. Take this to your next party or holiday event and it is sure to be eaten. Allergic to nuts? eliminate them and make it a 3-layer.
2 sm boxes instant chocolate pudding
2 deep dish graham cracker crusts
3 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
16 oz cool whip
16 oz powdered sugar
Chopped pecansMix pudding, milk and vanilla in a Tupperware type bowl with a lid. Stir to mix then secure lid well and shake well for 3-5 mins then let it sit.In a large bowl mix softened cream cheese, sugar and 8oz cool whip. The other half of cool whip is for the top layer. Mix well with mixer.Start layering in the pie crust with chocolate first, then cream cheese mixture, then cool whip by itself then nuts. Place the clear cover on and keep in the fridge.
To soften cream cheese you can leave it on table for an hour or put on a plate and microwave for 10-15 seconds. You just want it a little soft.
