Neverland Party

Welcome to Neverland. For my daughters 8th birthday party she wanted a Neverland tea party inspired by Peter Pan. We had her party at a cupcake Shoppe, where the kids could decorate their own cupcakes and have their own tea party.  I didn’t go all crazy for this party but I did make a few things that added a special touch to her party and didn’t spend to much money. My daughters birthday is in the spring so lucky for me I found a bunch of items to match my theme. neverland-party-1

I made little fairy jar party favors for just a few dollars.  I found a pack of Fairies in the Target dollar section that I spray painted white and hot glued onto these little jars. You can find these jars at grocery stores or at Wal-Mart in the canning section. I spray painted the rims white also.  I filled the jars with Robin eggs candy. I created this little printable and tied with twine.  I made all the little girls flower crowns with florist wire wrapped with florist tape. neverland-party-2I found these green cute little jars again at Target. I found these clock stickers in the scrapbooking section at Hobby Lobby.  I bought a pack of feathers also at Hobby lobby and painted the tips gold and added some cheap flowers.neverland-party-3I found this little trunk at Hobby Lobby along with the coins and little jars. I gave all the kids pixie dust made with cosmetic safe glitter that you can find online.neverland-partyI loved our little candy setup. You can find this candy straw grass during Easter time. We made little bird nest and added Jelly beans, pixie sticks, pretzels, chocolate gold coins, robin eggs and Rolos. neverland-party-7neverland-party-5I have seen these flower cupcake holders at all the craft stores, I bought mine at AC Moore. neverland-party-6You usually can find Pirate’s Booty popcorn at the store.
